It’s always a joy to work with Kim at KH Home Design and Furnings. Kim is a Certified Interior Decorator and Staging Professional — she was awarded 2020 HGTV’s Designer of the Year Award for People’s Choice, Best of Design 2019 and 2020 from Houzz, and is an Elite Service Professional with HomeAdvisor.

I always admire her use of color, texture and patterns, and her most recent project we photographed was inspiring.

This split level home in East Haven, CT was renovated to incorporate traditional architectural elements mixed with contemporary furniture and accessories to create a colorful, lively and eclectic design. She added storage to key spaces for functionality. Kim describes the style of the new decorating feature as contemporary, traditional, glamorous, and eclectic.
