How long have you been in business?

After graduating from Tufts University in 2008, I began my career as a photographer and content producer at the long-running television show This Old House. In 2013 I took the leap of faith and started my own photography business to work with businesses that need compelling stills and motion.

Do you do Motion?

I offer stop motion services as an add-on to my own photography services. I also partner with several trusted collaborators who can capture and edit the motion services you need in tandem with our still production. I can direct or work with a director’s vision and client’s vision. During my tenure at This Old House, I worked as a Segment Producer, earning an Emmy Award for our documentary "New Orleans: Getting Back to Normal,” and carry these skills with me on every photoshoot.

Do you do casting with video or stills?

I do both. When needed, I can offer casting services by collaborating with talent agencies, or sourcing “real-life models.”

Do you photograph tethered?

It’s important to me that my clients can preview the images from our photoshoot in live time to ensure the images are meeting our standards of quality. When I'm able to, I will capture your images tethered to my computer so we can review them on set.

Do you do treatments?

Treatments are an excellent opportunity for me to present my creative ideas for a photoshoot, and to make sure that my understanding of the concept is aligned with your needs. When requested, I am happy to create a treatment.

Do you offer drone photography?

As with my video services, I work with a few trusted colleagues to offer drone photography services as an add-on to any photoshoot.

How do you handle post production?

All final images are hand edited at my studio to ensure every image meets my high standards. This includes exposure, white balance, highlights, shadows, contrast, and sharpening. When requested, I am happy to offer high end retouching and I can provide a custom quote for these services.

What other services do you source for a photoshoot?

I am proud to collaborate with other trusted vendors and specialists that enhance the photoshoot. I have strong relationships with the following businesses: hair stylists, makeup artists, food stylists, prop stylists, videographers, high end retouchers.

What is it like to work with you on set?

I believe a photoshoot should be fun even if it’s hard work. I love to bring positive energy and laughter to every photoshoot, and a big part of that is building lasting relationships with my clients.

Do you travel?

Many of my photography assignments have taken me to wonderful locations near and far. I love to travel!

Do you work with an assistant?

Depending on the demands of the photoshoot, I may have an assistant with me.

What is your turnaround time?

The scope of work and level of editing for every project can vary. Together we will determine the turnaround time for the images based on when you need them.

Do you have a studio?

My at-home studio is located in Glastonbury, CT. While most of my photoshoots are on location, I photograph food, product, and some portrait photography out of my studio.

What is your price range?

I work with my clients to determine their photoshoot needs. After our introductory call, I develop a clear vision of the photoshoot. Using this information, I put together a custom estimate and proposal for you. I love to discuss budgets and I work creatively to produce a high-quality photoshoot within that budget.

Do you include digital files?

During our introductory phone call, we will discuss your usage needs. Will the images be used online, for social media, in print, or in a variety of ways? Based on the usage, we will discuss how many digital files you need for your project, and what the usage rights for those images will be.

Do you license your images?

If you are working with other businesses on your project and they are interested in using the images, I am happy to discuss licensing the images to them.

How do I get started?

I'm so glad you think I'm the right fit! First, please send me an email and introduce yourself. We can set up a time to have an introductory call and you can tell me all about you and your business or client.
