I previously worked with Lauren Flemming and the creative team at Milk Sono* on the advertising campaign for Dickinson’s Brands Inc. (Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel), so when they reached out to me to collaborate on a project for Fairfield Country Day, I was excited for an opportunity.
Lauren presented me with the creative concept for the photoshoot, which included the following: create a set of assets to be used digitally and in print, including stationary, collateral, presentation materials, website, social channels, signage and SWAG.
The images needed to meet the following creative direction: be distinctive and bold with clear messaging and stopping power. The images should bring us back to the objectives of the school and the campaign slogan “meet the moment.”
Together we planned the schedule for the day, choosing to use “real life models” (students), to give the images authenticity. We also decided to keep the frame tight on hands in-action and bring the focus to the skills and learning tools that the students encounter at the school.
It was a real pleasure working with Lauren and Deb Casey at Milk Sono, and Ally Bates at Fairfield Country Day. I love how the images look in-place on their website.
